Porcelain
Sculptural jewellery
April 2015
Using dried flowers, branches, cotton, vegetables, fabric and other natural objects, I coated them in porcelain. With the dipping I started shaping existing forms and making them my own. They became a frozen memory of a form or an object. Fragments in a cluster, growing and organic objects that look like my drawings. The porcelain acts as if it is hiding information, dispossessing characteristics by losing smell, colour and texture. Creating a new outer space of what used it used to be, beholding its energy.
